The nib is ground in-house, checked by hand against a loupe, and written with before it ships. These are the parts that decide how a line feels.

Ebonite body turned on a single lathe, brass fittings cut in Ota-ku, nib ground and tuned by one person from start to finish. If it is not right, it does not leave the bench.
